Did anyone do the spend $100 get $15 credit thing in Oct and get their credit yet?  Was supposed to be delivered on or before today, 11/7.  I haven't gotten my credit yet.

I haven't checked for mine yet, but from what I've read elsewhere, many other people haven't gotten theirs yet.

Ok thanks.  I didn't want to get on the phone with their support to ask about this just yet.

So I go to download Injustice for free and get a nice message telling me that it will only work as long as I remain a PS+ member.  If I ever turn it off, I'll have to buy Injustice at full price.  Haven't been a member for very long, so not sure if this is standard practice.  I downloaded SteamWorld Dig last month and don't remember seeing any message like that.  Maybe it's only for Injustice?  Not really a big deal now, but will suck if/when I decide to cancel.

EDIT:  Okay so apparently Injustice is part of their "Instant Games Collection", which is only for Plus members.  I didn't know this, kind of lame though.  Everything I downloaded through Games With Gold still works even though I'm no longer a member.

Yeah, that is how the PS+ free games work.  You only have access to them while your membership continues.  This differs from the Xbox Games With Gold thing where you get to keep them.  But I think most people just keep the subscription all the time in either case.

The game will remain in your plus account, so if you lose sub, then later resub, then it'll be back to being free.

I had a bit of a panic a few months back when my renewal somehow didn't take, and I thought all my free games to that point were lost.

It would be helpful to the consumer if they made that clearer, however, I guess from a business standpoint, obfuscating that will keep folks' subscriptions going.

360 games let you keep the game even if your gold downgrades. Xbox One Gold does the same as PS+ - you lose it while your account isn't gold status.

Transistor, Yakuza 4 heading to PlayStation Plus next month

Quote
Sony has revealed next month's PlayStation Plus lineup, announcing that subscribers will receive free downloadable copies of Transistor, Yakuza 4, and more starting next week.

Featured PlayStation 4 freebies for next month include Supergiant Games' Bastion follow-up Transistor and Alien Trap Games' side-scrolling action game Apotheon, while PlayStation 3 owners can expect to see Sega's open-world crime drama Yakuza 4 and Eidos Montreal's first-person stealth game Thief. The PlayStation Vita will host Jaywalkers Interactive's Kick & Fennick, and Cellar Door Games' roguelike platformer Rogue Legacy will be freely downloadable across the PlayStation 4, PS3, and Vita.

All featured games will be available as free downloads for PlayStation Plus subscribers after the PlayStation Store updates on February 3.

Cool!  Between Transistor and inFamous: First Light last month I am finding the PSN subscription to be well worth the money.

Hope this doesn't get lost in this thread.....

I had to switch out my PS4 because the first one had a drive issue.  I copied the files from the old system to the new with a thumb drive.

I know it worked because I put the thumb drive in my PC and I see the files. However, when I put the drive in the new PS4, it tells me no storage found.

Is there a trick I'm missing? I've put the drive in both USB slots on the system, but no go.

Anyone have a guess what is happening?

What files are you trying to copy? Saved games? Sony should have step by step instructions on its site for how to do this, in that case. Games can't be copied.

I followed the instructions from Sony. Copied the save game files only.

I had to swap mine out as well but I had my saves in the cloud. Haven't tried the usb method. I would assume it would be a similar process. Hm.

I haven't had saves in the cloud on the PS4 for months.

I have a long list of saves trying to upload with a marker telling me online storage is full.

It's ridiculous.

OK, figured it out... duh

I hadn't installed any of the games yet. Once I did, it imported the files found on the drive

OK, all games are working.... except the virtual purchases.

I have them downloaded, but when I access the thumb drive, I get the no data found.

Go into the PS4 settings and under PSN I think make sure to set the system as primary PS4.

I did that already. That was the only way I could download them. They are downloaded, just can't get the game saves and data off thumb drive

You might also have to "Restore Licenses" in the Settings.

This was the same for me.  I could not restore saved data until I installed the game.  This was the same from both USB storage and PS+ Cloud storage.

Try launching the game, closing the app then doing the copy.

That's my guess. They seem to handle things improperly and nonsensical when it comes to these sort of things.
