okay this week,we got screwed again on starfox/lylat wars which i am waiting for

we got

pac man------NES--------500 points
Bonks revenge------turbo grafix-------600points
Act raiser----------SNES--------800points

i am tempted to get act raiser,purely because it is square enix's first VC title...i have never played it before or even heard of it before,but i only have 1700 points,and i am saving 1000 for starfox...if and when it comes,rumour has it that it has just been certified for europe...so heres hoping next week

EDIT:hopefully seeing square now enter the VC titles,will pave the way for a certain chronno trigger

Actraiser is a great game.  It was extremely impressive graphically and aurally.  I can still remember calling my parents in to my room to watch the descent to the surface, with the screen rotating as the ground rushes up (that was a big deal back then slywink) and the excellent music swelling.

I think Actraiser is much more worth it than Star Fox 64, without question.

I was actually just talking to a friend about Actraiser a week or two ago.  I never played it, but I vividly remember that another friend of ours was a *huge* fan.  I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing that arrive here in the States.

ActRaiser ++

I was *not* a fan of the NES/SNES era games, but I did play my brother's copy of ActRaiser from beginning to end way back when.

I had forgotten all about Actraiser until I saw the name. LOVED the game. Does it hold up though, did any of you get it?

It's already availiable in North America on VC; released a few weeks ago.
Does anyone know if this game was available on any other consoles; i.e. the Sega Genesis?

As a game, yeah - it holds up great, IMO.  But it really needs the Classic Controller... the GC controller is just too awkward.
