apparently first appeared on the PS1,i dont remember it

but chocobos dungeon is coming to the Wii...i must admit i thought it was gonna be a bit lame....but it looks quite interesting

watch the video,it certainly starts of cute, then half way the shit hits the fan and you get the usual dungeon fighting.only this time you are a chocobo.............nice graphics...and the chocobo theme music(FF fans know which theme i mean)is still great

I'm actually playing through Chocobo's Dungeon 2 on my PSP and it's fun but certainly a different game from the rest of the FF fare.  It's a roguelike dungeon crawl with minimal story.  It's fun for what it is but certainly not for everyone.

I like how SE has taken their time and found out how to do some neat things on the Wii. I like how they are focusing on the Art Direction more and getting the little details into the world and not worrying about the ultra-realistic. In other words they are playing to the strength of the system. I like both sides of the coin, but it is good to see a developer not trying to shoe-horn something into the system that it can't do as well as the PS3 or 360.

Then again, I'd be happy with FFXII visuals for almost all my RPGs...
