This came out for the Wii today.  It's the sequel to the scuba diving game "Endless Ocean", but this time around there's an actual story line, missions, side missions, and goals to complete!

Current reviews say this game has turned into an underwater diving RPG.

It's $30 and comes with Wii Speak.

I think I'll pick this up tomorrow.

As a certified SCUBA diver, I am interested in checking this out.  I missed the first one and I've heard good things about it.

I played it today for about 45 minutes or so.  Beautiful and much more story-oriented.  A real motivation to keep playing.  I loved the first one, but I didn't make it all the way in.

Also as a diver I am interested. I got the first one and did not dig it much, but with a story I will have to look in to this. While I am dry dock it could be fun.

Edit: I would love this on the xbox or ps3 for graphic reasons only.

Same, I bet it would look wonderful on those systems.

I think both the first one and the screens I've seen of the second one look excellent underwater on the Wii.  It's when you go topside that everything falls apart.

But yes, it would look even better on the 360 / PS3.  Unfortunately, it doesn't look like these types of developers are drawn to those platforms.

I went to get this today and my Gamestop didn't get it in.  They said it will come tomorrow.

For those of you wishing they made this for the PS3, well, they did.  It's called Aquanaut's Holiday, it's for the PS3, and it was only released in Asia.  It's basically exactly like Endless Ocean, but with better graphics and no dolphin training.  Also, you're supposedly riding around in a sub, but it's first person, so you can't really tell.

Unfortunately, it looks like it got way more scarce than it was when I imported it last spring.  Best I could find was at NCSX for about $60.  The one you want is the Korean one, since that has full English voice and text.  Not sure about the Japanese version.  Works in an unmodded PS3 too.

The main thing keeping me from getting the new Endless Ocean is that I have both Endless Ocean 1 and Aquanaut's Holiday sitting on my shelf barely played.  But the addition of a storyline and the low price of this one might get me in short order.

You can also get a free WiiSpeak with it, if you get the right box, for whatever that's worth.

It is mine!  Picked it up (with the Wii Speak I'll never use) today and I'll check it out in a couple of hours.

Spent another hour with it today.  It's really better than the first one, and I enjoyed that.

My Gamestop still hasn't gotten it in.  They said tomorrow or Friday.  They also said it shipped on Monday.  They must have sent it by donkey.

I got this yesterday and played for about 3 hours now.  It's alot like the first one, but this time there's a little more to do.  I'm really enjoying the time I've spent so far and I'm eager to get back to it.  Very relaxing game.  So different than most, but done very well.

Finally got my copy last night.  Really enjoyed my time with it and them adding in the story and tons of things to do makes the game so much better than the first one.  Looking forward to "diving" into it more. slywink

I've played alot more now.  This game is very fun.  There is so much more to do than the first game.  The salvaging treasure mode is quite fun too.  Two thumbs up from me.

I've got a game that I haven't been able to sell at work, and isn't worth enough to bother selling online, so I'm just going to trade it in to Gamestop tonight and grab this.
