Looks great, and the ending is gruesome! A bit too much smoke though.

I'm also completely unable to play the Fear E3 trailer now, which is odd because it used to open just fine in quicktime. I re-downloaded it to show it to a friend, and I can't open the file with anything but winamp, as described above.
I refuse to install that garbage called realplayer on my PC, and quicktime nor windows media player will play the file now. What in the world happened?

I tried quicktime, media player, realplayer ...they would play video but no sound. Then when i tried to use my winamp to play it again it would'nt play it either now and said bad direct sound or some such..argh
edit now its something else..seems my whole sound setup is not working since installing a 4 port usb hub...back to the drawing board.

Is that the trailer, the 103 Meg Ziped file? If so its not a New trailer its rather old, I've had it on my Pc for well over 6 months. Is there a New Fear trailer, the 103 meg is from the E3 last year?

I am having trouble getting these guys. I saw the one FEAR trailer that was basically the whole first level. Looked good, fast, smooth, and fun but I must say it was really dark and seemed difficult to see sometimes? Anyone else concerned about that?

The video was fine for me, make sure you've got your gamma set properly on your card, or that you don't have extra glare on our monitor.
This new video isn't any different from the old one, it's just that it's now available in other places than gamespot.
The video is intentionally dark, but monlith understands lighting and contrast so while there are dark areas, there are light areas and nothing looks like the ambiguous mass of dim light like other "dark" games.
