I think that for lots of folks (including me), the holiday weekend starts today.  So let's get this party started, shall we?  smile

I grabbed Stories:  The Path of Destinies from PS+, which seems fun so far.  Also picked up Mirror's Edge Catalyst for $10 on PSN sale, so I'll give that a look.  Been trying to give Archeage a shot after the 3.0 update, but have yet to see queue times on the "fresh start" servers under an hour.  Someone over at OO gifted me Craft the World, which might be interesting as well.  I played the first couple hours of Tyranny, but am getting random lockups and the game kinda runs like crap.  Might need to reinstall or wait for a patch on that.  I heard they're doing a free weekend of Star Wars Battlefront, which is a game I've always wanted to try, but didn't want to actually pay for (I can't see myself ever sticking with a MP-focused FPS).

What's on your menu?

EDIT:  Now I've also picked up Drunken Robot Pornography (a bullet-hell FPS...thing) and Thea:  The Awakening, both of which look very neat.

Dead Rising 4. I'm only about 3 hours into it, but I will be playing a lot more. If that starts to bore me I bought FFXV as well. Sunday I hope to be getting a new 3DS and Pokemon Moon, which I will be playing with my 10yo son so I'll have a walking reference guide to help me. I also re-upped my gamestop pro membership and when I get the B2G1 coupon I will be grabbing some of the recommendations from my Mobile thread (Monster Hunter, FE: Awakening and Bravely One or the Other).

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

For some bizarre reason, a friend of mine got me back into Borderlands 2 (PC) and now I'm power leveling my gunzerker up to 72 (almost there). Haven't played much of anything else recently though. I did get the NES Classic though and fired it up last night. Man, I still suck at Super Contra. Haven't tried them all yet but that brings back some good memories.

Well, I ended up getting sucked into Guild Wars 2 due to a friend's urging and it being included in the Humble Bundle.  Cripes, like I needed another game to steal my time.  Never thought I'd be going back to another MMO, but I'm having fun here.

I finished Stories, which was better than expected.  Tried Mirrors Edge...meh.  Still haven't seen Archeage without a 1+ hour queue, so that was a no go.   After Tyranny crashed on my another 3 times, I gave up on it.  Futzed around with Thumper (a bizarre racing/rhythm/Tempest...thing) and a bit of Drunken Robot Pornography.

Decided to go back to Dragon Age Inquisition, as I bought the "Game of the Year" edition, and never got to see any of the new DLC stuff.  Started fresh, and have gotten just about to the end of Haven.  I had forgotten how much I enjoyed that game.
