We've only played ep one but loved it! I just used that $20 psn card and grabbed 2-4. That $5.03 left on my account will get me the last episode shortly. Not too shabby. It's a great game to play with your wives. Mine isnt really captivated by too many games, but this seems to keep her interested to say the least. So, later tonight. Dinner, drink by the fireplace and episode 2!!!!

Finished up tonight.  What a great game.  This is my surprise GOTY.  When I started I thought I would enjoy it, but getting to know the characters and going on the journey with them was outstanding.  Highly recommend if you haven't tried it.

I had Clem take care of Lee.  I figured something was going to happen like that.  Did you watch the post credits scene?  I am guessing it was Christine and Omid on the hill....but then, they probably want you to think that.  I figured Season 2 would be a whole new group of survivors.  Kind of seemed like they were giving the impression that Clem was going to be the main char?

This doesn't look like its getting a retail release anytime soon in the UK(it's due 4th Dec in U.S.),i can't find it on any shop sites(its on Amazon.com but not Amazon.co.uk),I also tweeted Telltale games asking if it was coming to UK as retail but got no reply

I guess this is plausible, if we are to believe she has super sharp eagle eyesight and can identify and recognize two little black specks miles away in the distance. I always take these post-credit scenes with a grain of salt anyway.

Personally thought 5 was the weakest chapter of the series and most poorly written.  Also it was the shortest.

Overall ending was good.  

Overall the game is a 5/5.

I think it still plays out the same. I chose to leave the arm on and if you see all of Lee's subsequent animations through rest of the episode you'll see "chopped" arm just hanging there doing nothing, as if it weren't there at all. Maybe some dialogue will change but the animations all look the same with the only difference being Lee's character model with and without his arm.

That bitch killed Claire!?! Was there a way to prevent that? We are playing to live with our decisions,so there's no going back but I'm curious if it was possible to have her not die. Yeah, and we left that bitch on the side of the road to die!

Finally finished up the last two episodes. Really great game all around. Only dissapointment near the end was the reveal of the guy at the other end of the walkie talkie. But other than that it was pretty perfect. Had so many monents where I was just totally shocked at what happened or felt pretty bad with some of the choices you had to make.

Am curious to see how the game plays out with making other choices, like choosing to save other characters when you can or letting them die. But don't think I'll ever play this one through again to find out. I feel like I had my own unique expierence with the game and will leave it like that.

With me holding off for the retail version,that sadly doesn't look like it will happen in PAL land,i was just about to spring for the XBLA version after i had finished watching all 8 episodes of Season 3 TV Series...i have just watched the first 5 episodes yesterday,so was quite close,LOL

well,whatcha know ....The whole season will be on sale on the 28th of this month while episode 1 will be free for a week starting Chrimbo day

Clem seems conflicted because everyone she's come in contact with since Lee found her has died.  Alone she's just alone, but with other people she'll likely have to watch them die too.  *shrug*  My 2c.

just finished this game.  well written, as i really felt a connection to the characters, especially Clementine. 

On a side note, I recently bought this, and was able to just play through without waiting for new episodes to release.  For me, this worked out much better, play wise and price wise, and I'll be sure to always do this with Episode type games.

I figured it would be best if they knew about my past upfront,also i was hoping it would shed light on Lee's past(It didn't at this time)


Who Would You Save?:Duck or Shawn?-You and 49% of players choose Duck

My first BIG decision in the game,i know now that only one can be saved,at the time i was thinking we could move the tractor off Shawn's leg if we saved Duck First and then we could of moved Shawn and helped him....guess that didn't work


Loyalty:Side With Kenny?-You and 48% of players defended Kenny

Only 48% sided with Kenny when that other guy was being a prick?...erm,okay,LOL(I guess that was the part it means anyway when they first enter the Pharmacy)


Mercy:Gave Irene the Gun?-You and 45% of players gave her the gun

Not sure why everyone else in the game thinks that she could still be saved(perhaps because it's still early in the disaster),but i knew she was fucked,better to let her go out now and her way i guess

For the girl with the gun. Same thing. I'm not wasting one of my precious bullets on her.
And I saved Carly because she was hell with the handgun and for no other reason. Doug seemed pretty useless.

There have been some arguments on helping Doug because Carly was dumb as fuck(Batteries wrong way around in radio),and he knew his gadget crap..but yeah like you say,she was good with the gun

Episode 2 was a complete glitchfest stuttering all over the damn show,getting stuck on a screen but still hearing the scene playing on

I hope episodes 3,4 and 5 are not like that

I'm so pissed that Kenny claims that I wasn't there for him when I actually made choices against my own judgment just because I thought Kenny was a decent enough guy and put some trust in him.  So now he'll be over on the boat while I'm trying to rescue Clementine.  I anticipated many of the surprises in this one, but it was still a good story.  I keep yelling at Lee to cut the infected part of his arm off as it seems to work in the comic book (assuming you survive the cut).  Of course, the doctor took off, so I guess there's not really anyone to take care of him if they went that route.

I left to search for Clem with only Kenny and Ben (who I obviously did not let fall to his demise). How does one get the couple Onid and his preggers lady to come with you as well? Do you have to reveal your bite? Because I didn't, and I was surprised to see that only 19% of other players made the same choice.

They came with me, in part at least because I showed them the bite. I think she even said something to that effect later in the episode. Kenny also came with me and Ben stayed with the boat (for all the good that did).

I wonder what happens if you let Ben drop to his death. Does Kenny then fall off the balcony like Ben did? Or can you keep Kenny alive until the end?

This was an honest-to-God mistake.  Maybe I jinked the controller, but the camera swept past Omid so fast, I didn't know grabbing him was a possibility.

One of the hardest decisions I can remember being asked to make in a game.  I'm amazed the results are so weighted.

Ben has Clementine to thank for this.  If she hadn't spoken up on his behalf....

Under other circumstances, I would have fessed up immediately.  In the immediate aftermath of Clementine's disappearance, though, I couldn't risk having everyone get distracted with an argument about me.

Episode 5

After the fact, a friend made a compelling point that Clementine needs to conserve ammo.  I hadn't thought of that - I was focused on ensuring she would be left with the knowledge that she was strong enough now to kill someone she loves as an act of mercy.
