Holy cow.  I'm in the 4-6 hour range for each episode.

Maybe it was that long and I just didn't know it.   

I play these in one sitting.

saw the cannibalism twist coming as soon as I got to the dairy farm.  the quicktime event for portion of the fist fight where Andy was pushing Lee's face into the barbed wire was irritating though- I kept on mashing the Q key when apparently I was supposed to lose the event for the scene to continue.

not bad, hopefully episode 3 isn't too far off.

agreed with pretty much everything Ceekay said, right down to the spoilered parts.  as of today, I have played TWD for 4 hours.  I think that it must be their target for each episode on a first run. 

it was a pretty good episode, very dark and shocking, although not so much if you read the books or are familiar with the scenario and while I do think the choices you make are noticeable, they aren't game changing as in, who lives or dies.  a bit bummed at that honestly as it could have made a replay worth it.  right now, I can see myself playing through once more at the end just to see if anything really veers off, but I don't think I'll bother with replaying each episode just now.

Wow. I play with my wife since she really seems to be enjoying it and... Maybe 2 and a half hrs per episode. Which I think is a great value for $5.  But, what do you do for 4 to 6 hrs?!?

Just played through episode 2 tonight on the news the next episode is due out. Wow episode 2 had some really unexpected and shocking moments to it. Not much adventuring or puzzle sovling in it but I think I liked this episode more than the 1st since the story was really strong and I wasn't sure what was going to happen from one scene to the next.

Was really getting pulled back and forth throughout the epsiode figuring what sides to take and what to do.

I don't think Clementine trusts me much anymore. I feel pretty bad about that. And I also think I lost Kenny as a friend and ally.

Good stuff.

By far, I thought this was the best episode yet.  In my 42 years on this planet, I have never wept during a video game......until now.  I'm sure my emotions were helped by the fact that I have little kids.  (Staying away from spoilers.)  These characters are phenomenal and the writing is beyond superb.

December 4th retail release

This information comes from Telltale's official twitter account where the studio replied to a fan asking if the series would come out on a disc. "As a matter of fact, yes!" the studio replied. "Entire season on disc. Dec 4th in NA for Xbox 360 and PS3. EU dates TBA."

I've never seen the TV show, but have read the comic.  They kind of take place at the same time, but pretty independently.  I don't think the main focus is overlap, though, it can happen.  It's really meant to be its own story.

I downloaded the first two eps free from PS+, but wanted to catch up on the show first.

There is absolutely no connection between the game and the show in terms of story.  Other than the fact that they both have zombies as the antagonist.

I'm so pissed that Kenny claims that I wasn't there for him when I actually made choices against my own judgment just because I thought Kenny was a decent enough guy and put some trust in him.  So now he'll be over on the boat while I'm trying to rescue Clementine.  I anticipated many of the surprises in this one, but it was still a good story.  I keep yelling at Lee to cut the infected part of his arm off as it seems to work in the comic book (assuming you survive the cut).  Of course, the doctor took off, so I guess there's not really anyone to take care of him if they went that route.

Update: Telltale says it's aware that some players are having issues with the fourth episode in its Walking Dead games not recognizing past saves, and it's working on a solution.

Here's the official statement:

Telltale’s support team is aware that a small number of users are affected by this issue, and is working rapidly with those affected to help identify a solution.  If anyone is experiencing any issues, we recommend they reach out to [email protected] or visit http://www.telltalegames.com/support/ for solutions from our team as they become available.

Original story: Telltale's adaptation of The Walking Dead is one of the more successful examples of incorporating player choice into a game's story. The decisions that players make affect the game in significant ways, often leading to the death of a supporting character. It's understandable then that players who are experiencing save-game issues after downloading episode four are getting particularly upset.

Affected players are posting about their problems on Telltale's official forums. Some players are saying that their progress from episodes 1-3 isn't recognized, and that they get a message saying choices will be randomized when starting episode four. It seems to be an issue across various platforms, though it's clearly not affecting everyone. For those who are having issues, it's obviously a pretty big deal.

We've reached out to Telltale about the problem, and we'll update this story if we hear anything.

I left to search for Clem with only Kenny and Ben (who I obviously did not let fall to his demise). How does one get the couple Onid and his preggers lady to come with you as well? Do you have to reveal your bite? Because I didn't, and I was surprised to see that only 19% of other players made the same choice.

I'm through ep 3 (saving 4 until 5 comes out) and this is one of the best storytelling/gaming experiences that I can remember having.  Just incredible.

Few glitches here and there, but it is just fantastic.

Well, FWIW, the end of ep 3 is a good place to pause...better than two imo.  Probably doesn't really matter cause 5 is due out this month sometime.

We've only played ep one but loved it! I just used that $20 psn card and grabbed 2-4. That $5.03 left on my account will get me the last episode shortly. Not too shabby. It's a great game to play with your wives. Mine isnt really captivated by too many games, but this seems to keep her interested to say the least. So, later tonight. Dinner, drink by the fireplace and episode 2!!!!
