Been playing the demo for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 a bit and so far I'm extremely impressed and in love with the gameplay and graphics, however occasionally it seems like there are performance issues. The main one is choppiness, one time the game got extremely choppy out of nowhere, nothing in particular seemed to trigger it. Also, there aren't many resolutions to choose from.

Has anything been said about graphical issues and whether or not there will be more resolutions in the final product?

Oh and mods, incase you were going to switch the thread to RTG, please keep in mind the game comes out in a few days and this thread will be useful in this section.

Since PCG and RTG are new, we'll go ahead and leave this one here, but in the future, these threads will be moved to RTG, unless the game is actually on the shelf.

Which demo are you running?  I know that they released a new demo v1.2 that supposedly fixes some things about the game but I have not tried it yet.  You can get it at:

That second demo is pretty strong.   A lot of the original issues have been fixed and it more closely mirrors what I hope the game will be like.  If this demo is any indication, I oughtta be a very happy man when I get my copy.

Actually 1.2 is the third demo and was released a few days after the second (1.1).

I'll be picking my copy up from GameStop today, I'm gonna sink 4-5 hours into it tonight. Definately an impressions thread will be needed, we'll keep performance related issues here since there's bound to be comparisons.
