A few issues ago in the official playstation magazine they mentioned a mouse and keyboard were being worked on for the PSP (by Sony) and would be released later this year.

I think it was announced later, though, that it was cancelled.

Edit:  Yep, I was right.  Here is the link:

Oh well, shame, since anything is better than the onscreen keyboard it uses now, even my cell phone is easier to type on.

The one linked to was a 3rd party keyboard.  Unfortunately it sounds like Sony doesn't want to give out the necessary info to get it to work properly or as well as it possibly could.  Maybe some HK company can hack one out or Sony could come out with their own.  It would be nice but seems like a very niche product unless Sony really embraces web browsing on the PSP.  Kinda hard to do any typing.  Though a lot of special portals do a nice job with RSS text feeds and the like.

Yea, I wish I was Sony's President, then I could make stuff that would be cool. They have the right idea, they just need to take there products further.

Did that device to connect the PSP to a TV and PS controller ever come out?  That looked like another really hot third party product, but I never heard about it after it was announced.

yea the TV thing came out, I just googled it and had many different results:

if anyone is looking for the PSP to a TV and being able to hook in your PS2 controller, I know where to get them, but they cost $120.
