I know everybody is burnt out on hearing about Kickstarters, but my buddy Shadi has launched one for his game Invisigun Heroes and I just wanted to help spread the word (to the 5 people here who might care, heh).

The game is a 2D pixel art multiplayer battle arena where everybody is invisible so stealth is important.  You use the sound and environmental cues to tell where other people are, and expose yourself for a couple seconds any time you shoot.  It's sort of like Bomberman meets the old Atari game Combat, with some modern twists.

Check it out at least for his great video with the muppet/puppet smile

He's been working on it for a year and a half totally self-funded, so what he has is pretty polished.  He just needs more money to continue fleshing out online play, AI bots, more art/content, etc.

For what it's worth I've known Shadi for years, I worked with him for more than 2 years, and he's a great dude; just one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and super dedicated to quality.  It may or may not appeal to you, but this is one KS that I'd stake my personal word on that it won't disappear or fizzle out before launch.   thumbsup

Well, Shadi was down at PAX South this last weekend showing his game off in a micro booth and it seems people were digging the game.   icon_smile

Some site called "Gaming Trend" put up a really nice preview:  http://gamingtrend.com/2016/02/01/seeing-is-believing-invisigun-heroes-preview/

And the guys over at PC Gamer did an interview as well: http://www.pcgamer.com/invisigun-heroes-could-be-the-next-towerfall/
