I would put more money on Sully endangered (or dead) due to circumstances that Nate created, and he's off for rescue (or revenge).

I watched the video in 1080p in 60 fps here and it's ridiculous.  Can not wait.

It has been confirmed by multiple sources that the trailer we saw for this game was rendered in real time on a single PS4 at 1080p 60fps, no trickery involved. What we saw is part of an actual level in the game. Uncharted 4 will mark the beginning of Naughty Dog doing all cinematics in-game instead of using traditional pre-rendered CGI.

Naughty Dog proves once again why they're so renowned.

Here's a Digital Foundry article which takes a closer look at the trailer. Suffice to say, they're impressed.

Also, Nolan North thinks this might be the last Uncharted game.

Nah, probably the last Uncharted game about Nate and company, and the last one we'll see for a few more years. But, I'm pretty sure that by the end of this generation we'll see a new Uncharted with an entirely new cast, with nods to the old crew.

Now's a good time to send off the series, but if you give the story and gameplay some time to lay fallow, they can easily bring back a game in the same style.

That said, the Uncharted formula has been working great in the industry in terms of AAA cinematic games, and all of ND's projects. Uncharted will never really go away since that style has influenced the game industry as much as some of the better recognized classics.

That seemed to clearly be the intention from all the "one last time" dialogue in the trailer and the subtitle of the damned game.

The "one last time" thing is an action story trope though, and is rarely taken literally. As for the title, it most likely refers to the story that was hinted at with the previous trailer, leading Drake on the trail of a thief who did meet his end. Of course, it could also talk about both of them, though I suspect it's meant as a red herring to increase the story's dramatic tension. I really doubt Drake will die in this game. Sully maybe, but not Drake, and even that I doubt. These stories are too light-hearted, and their tone would change too much if their final destination was the hero's death.

Druckman did say he wanted to kill Elena in UC2. Now that he's back and fresh off acclaim in TLoU maybe he's gonna go hog wild and off people!

we should have a pool for who lives and dies.  I'm guessing Sully bites it to let both of them escape from a massive army and then Nathan bites it saving Elena.

Wonder what the odds are on a complete wipe.  There would have to be a world-saving moment for that to happen though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did.  They could leave the adventuring to Elena or that character from Golden Abyss.  Safe bet is Sully though.
