Well, here we are with what would have been a punchline to a joke a few years back once Ubi decided to get yearly updates to it's AC franchise.  Split right in the middle of two generations and all the promise of an expanded take on last year's Black Flag and a new engine with much-requested co-op in Unity.  Halo gets the master package of games not named Reach or ODST and a fresh coat of paint over the whole thing.  It's also the best bang for you gaming buck with more MP levels than you could get bored of in a year.  Batman also makes his 3rd appearance in a blockier form than anyone thought before Arkham Knight was kicked out of 2014.  We also have the latest update to WoW

SO, on to the list, and which of the AC's are you getting (if any)

PS4
Assassin's Creed Unity
Retro City Rampage DX
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015
Nano Assault NEO-X
Terraria: PS4 Edition

XB1
Assassin's Creed Unity
Shape Up
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015

WiiU
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric

PS3
Assassin's Creed Rogue
Retro City Rampage DX
Digimon: All Star Rumble
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015

360
Assassin's Creed Rogue
Retro City Rampage DX
Tropico 5
Digimon: All Star Rumble
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015

PC
Assassin's Creed Unity
Retro City Rampage DX
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor

3DS
Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal
Retro City Rampage DX

Lego Batman 3 for XB1.

Interested to read impressions of the new AC to see if it actually improves core systems.

Will pick up ACU some time, but my 35th wedding anniversary is next weekend and there's way too much going on to be able to devote the time to it. And I'm a bit leery of any Assassin's Creed release until I see the first impressions and reviews.

Besides, Far Cry 4 is out next week  icon_wink

Myself, ACU only this week.  Lords of the Fallen gets some shelf time once I have AC in hand.

Next week will be tough as I'll have 3 different open world games to choose from.  Madness

Leaning towards ACU as I actually really liked AC4 but not as excited about the Paris setting as I was the pirate one.

Probably Assassin's Creed Unity for the PS4, though I'm mighty annoyed at Ubisoft's fan treatment recently ("nobody cares about 1080p", "30 fps is a better experience", as well as the whole disappearing games on Steam act), so I could turn on a dime if the reviews are lukewarm.

After Shadow of Mordor, I think I'll wait to see if Ubisoft truly delivered with their try at making the gameplay more dynamic and interesting in AC, otherwise it's easy to skip.

Warlords of Draenor already installed and waiting for Blizz to turn on the lights.  Deciding if I'll play my Shammy or Pally first.  Will probably get Halo MCC later

I'm planning to pick up Assassin's Creed: Unity, though I'm still torn on whether to go with the PC or PS4 edition.  I suspect the PC version would look noticeably better, but Ubisoft's ports always have some weird optimization quirk where they run like crap unless you click the icon with your left foot.

Also Lego Batman 3 because the second game was one of my favorite entries in the whole franchise.

Is Assassin's Creed: Rogue supposed to be any good, or did Ubisoft pawn that off on the D-team that made Liberation?

Already have Unity pre-ordered on PS4.  May even go to the launch event tonight, but I doubt it.  I know it's probably cliche, but I'm getting too old for this shit.

Elsewhere in the house all three of my girls are excited for Warlords of Draenor, especially the oldest.  She's actually mad they have her working the day after.  She was planning on staying up until the expansion went live, knowing her she probably will anyway.  Kid is a beast with that game, think she has like 6 level 90s in all epics.  How she doesn't ever get burned out in it is beyond me.

Technically not "allowed" to buy games from now until Dec. 25th due to birthday/Christmas, but I pretty much know that I'll be getting AC: Unity and Master Chief Collection this week. I'll also be getting either Lords of the Fallen or Alien Isolation through the Target B2G1 free promotion.

I'm really going to be stocked up on AAA games by the end of the year. I'm desperately trying to finish up Sunset Overdrive to prepare for the coming flood.

Just finished 100%ing Lego Batman 2 gearing up for LB3.  I know Bats gets some cool ass retro costumes this year (with the Season Pass, at least), but not much more.  I just hope that if you're flying with Superman again, that they fix the controls (but kept the music).

ACU for sure.

Halo MCC is coming from MS.  Hopefully, it'll arrive earlier than Sunset Overdrive did.

I'm also interested in both Retro City Rampage DX and Nano Assault NEO-X.

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric will probably suck.

Not loving Sunset Overdrive, TBH.

Also, that MCC collection $10 card applies to digital version too - have it preloaded on XB1. (This was new to me - I looked all over and before they didn't specify digital)

EB called to tell me AssCreed preorder is in. I think I'm going to wave this one off though. I simply have too much to pay a premium for a game I'm unlikely to play right now.

FYI: Target is advertising a $30 credit towards GTA V on PS4 / XB1 with the trade-in of the PS3 / 360 version.  I know a lot of people are double-dipping on that one, so it's a great deal if you still have that last-gen version kicking around.

I was waffling between picking up either ACU this week or Dragon Age next week. I think I'm going to go DA next week over ACU, between the graphical issues people are noticing in the preview videos and my concerns over a stale formula I have a bad feeling about ACU. Plus I have faith that Bioware will right the DA ship.

Same here, picked it up for PS4 about 30 minutes ago. I would have gone PC if my graphics card had 3GB of memory.
