Definitely Killzone 1 remake. It has a much better story than KZ2 and way more likable characters. Heck, they could take some assets from KZ2 and put them into the KZ1 remake.

I'm kind of curious why they did Sly before Ratchet or Jak.
maybe they're gauging the interest in the series for a possible Sly 4. I really hope this is the case. It's one of the reasons I'm still considering buying this. I'd love to see a Sly 4. Makes me wonder why they haven't done it yet. Wait, this supports Move? How? What part of the game's function could possibly be replaced by Move? Maybe some of the 'mini-game' segments, but...this is a platformer. It's a required peripheral so they can screw you with their glowing balls.

They "are very aware of consumers' expectations" regarding Ico and Shadow of the Colossus in HD, so I think it is all but a sure thing.

Not to mention a rerelease of those just before The Last Guardian releases will spur sales for TLG.
They'll probably announce the Team ICO collection at TGS if they ever do it this year.

Sony seem to think a MGS and FF game are also on there way in this collection http://www.thegameheadz.com///Home/AddArticles/PlaystationNetwork/tabid/211/PageIndex/1/Default.aspx“The industry’s best developers are ReMastering their best games. Prince of Persia, Shadow of Colossus, and ICO are just the beginning. When fans see what Konami’s doing to the Metal Gear series, and what Square’s doing with Final Fantasy, they’re going to be very happy.”
now,a FF game that people want to be re-released for the PS3 in HD....hmm,maybe that's why FF7 hasn't actually been remade as an actual PS3 game There has to be some big jump though as FF7 was PS1,if it was FF7 then it would just really be a remake like that tech demo suggested and not so much as an 'upgrade' so to speak like the other HD classics as for MGS?..Twin Snakes for Playstation?...although i would love Port Ops or Peace Walker, but again they aren't PS2 who knows

The thing with redoing Final Fantasy 7 is that it would require an absolute shit-ton of work to do. ICO, Shadow of Colossus, the Sly Cooper Collection, etc, are all just 'increase the textures, rendering resolution, and the frame rate and you're done' redoes (yes, I realize that Sly has 3D TV support). Not that this isn't a bad thing in some cases (odds are good I'm buying all the ones I listed, even though I own them all on the PS2), but they're just more or less ports. FF7 however...because of its abundant use of FMV mixed with ingame graphics, use of 2D textures for backgrounds and such, will require an ass-ton of work to make it look good. Case in point - fire the game up in an emulator and turn up the resolution. It looks like hell because of how much 2D it really uses. Of course, Square Enix have been on a redo kick for years now (how many times have they rereleased their classic Final Fantasy games in some portable form now?), so it wouldn't surprise me if they do FF7 as a 'pinnacle' of the collection. I just hope they do Final Fantasy 6 on the DS first. It's a better game.

I would think FF10 is a much more likely candidate for the Classics HD line.

I just hope they do Final Fantasy 6 on the DS first. It's a better game. I guarantee you that the shit ton of work has already been happening for a while now. They've been making enough money on the rereleases on Nintendo handhelds, and they know the unique mania that FF VII instills. I have no question that some version of this will happen and has been in the works in some format. If the 3DS takes off like it seems like it's going to, that's where I'd expect to see it, personally.

remember that the Prince of Persia games(Prince of Persia:- The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia:- Warrior Within and Prince of Persia:- The Two Thrones) were being redone for Playstation 3?(i have no idea where that thread is)..and remember how at the time it said Europe only, but we all presumed it would give a US date soon? well, they are coming to the US...however,they are coming as 3 separate downloads on PSN,and if i read right, they are not due as a Blu-Ray disc compilation for the States http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=275784 It looks like the currently Euro-exclusive PS3 Blu-ray compilation of the PS2 Prince of Persia games will be heading to the US as separate PSN downloads.
In an update release schedule put out today in conjunction with its first half of 2010-11 financials, Ubisoft list the three games, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, as separate entries with 'PSN' as the platform.
The Euro-exclusive Prince of Persia Trilogy disc, which includes all three games on a single disc, is also on the list, making it even clearer Ubisoft's plan to release the games digitally in the States.
No prices have been confirmed however, and the release is pinned somewhere between now and the end of the year. Splinter Cell trilogy is also on its way

there's also a Ratchet and Clank game in there too. I bet Amazon will be matching some if not all.
I hope so- there's 5 games in that ad I'd like to get for 10 bucks a shot. I can feel my backlog enlarging as we speak!

I don't know how I feel about them being downloads. For something like Prince of Persia, I'd really rather have them on disc. Maybe I'll see how much it'd cost to import them from Europe. Seems silly of them to release it on disc in one territory and only do a digital version in another.

Well, it doesn't look like they improved any of the models. The Prince looks pretty blocky. Colors are nice, though.
They also didn't upgrade the movies at all, they look pretty lo-res and washed out. Also, the opening movie plays squished with letterboxing when the game boots, but then plays with the correct aspect ratio when the actual game starts.
Regardless, I'm glad I can get rid of my old PS2 copy. I kind of wish these came out on 360, because I like using the triggers for wallrunning/time control.

Teggy has the game got Trophies? Yup, although I didn't get any before the first save spot. After the ridiculously long install (why can 360 games be played immediately, but PS3 games need a secondary install?) there is a second (shorter) install where it says it is installing trophies.

The sharp graphics make the game look more cartoony AND it loses the ethereal quality (soft filter, glowing lights, etc) that the game once had. Still fun, though, but it's lost something in translation.

Aw they got rid of the glow on everything? Yeah, and it was kind of iconic. Some of it's the move to sharp HD, but it may have to do with the 3D aspect, as well. Since I don't have that, it's a loss for me.

Because of the PS3's 'slow' BR drive, most streaming games require an install because otherwise the game would stutter like mad trying to load in all the data.

I think his point is why not write it the first time in the way that it needs to go? On the 360, you download the file and just run it because it gets written to the drive in a way that is executable. With the 360, you download it and then you have to install it.

Um, yes, but PS3 for that second part. This is a game that downloads directly to the HD.
