Silent Hill HD collection now happening for the 360

Finally succumbing to Xbox 360-owning Silent Hill fans' rage, Konami announced at its press conference that the Silent Hill HD collection will no longer be a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

This fall, the HD bundle of Silent Hill 2 and 3 will release on 360 day and date with the PS3 version. As stated before, the collection will feature all new voice work. Konami gave a sample of a few lines during the presser and it was less than impressive. I'm sure, however, that if I heard the original dialogue today it might not sound all that great either.

Splinter Cell Trilogy has received a patch to restore inverted aiming....maybe it's worth it now?

I am guessing these are the PS2 games not the PS3 games ,due on May 16th


as there are absolutely no details,it will be interesting which ones are included as there were 4 R+C games on the PS2 before the 'Future' Trilogy on the PS3

Ratchet and Clank:Up Your Arsenal(Known as R+C 3 in EU) was released November 2004
Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked was released October 2005


according to Wiki,Deadlock was different from the previous games,reducing platform puzzles...so i think it will be this game that gets left out...or maybe the HD collection will have all 4 games,but i will be surprised if that happens

This is the only series I actually finished when my PS3 was still backwards compatible.  Loved it, but don't need to play it again, since it was so recently.

Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia HD next for SEGA?

After it hit an excitement jackpot with news of a re-released Jet Set Radio, Sega must be frantically digging through its Dreamcast catalogue for more games it can sell to a whole new (or, well, same but older) audience, because it's now teasing HD re-releases of Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia.

The sailor-catcher and cloud-based RPG were two of the most memorable and cherished titles on Sega's last ever home console.

Speaking with GameReactor at GDC, Sega's Associate Brand Manager Ben Harborne said in response to questions over what have been the most-requested re-releases, "I can tell you what'll be: Shenmue. That, and Skies of Arcadia."

"They're a couple of our most requested games. I can't say 'yes' or 'no', but we may be working on them."

I have been wanting Skies of Arcadia re-release for years,loved it on the Cube

while this has now been confirmed,its May 16th for UK,US has a Fall 2012 date

Premature retailer listings that originally sparked rumours of the trilogy weeks ago were also spot-on with the release date; May 16 in UK. The US release is stated as 'Fall'.

Not sure if it was mentioned elsewhere, but they will be including the multiplayer aspects of Up Your Arsenal.  And the reason for the fall release:

They toned that way down in the Gamecube re-release.  It was pretty great.

They toned that way down in the Gamecube re-release.  It was pretty great.

I only played the Gamecube version....I now hope that its Legends that does get updated,and not the Dreamcast version

It looks like Ratchet & Clank : Deadlocked will be getting the HD treatment as a PSN download, at least in Japan.

The Italian retail site 16Games has listed a PS3 HD collection for the Hitman series. The Hitman Triple Pack will reportedly include Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money.

While the existence of the game is unconfirmed, an HD version of the games certainly makes sense. They hold up remarkably well as it is, particularly Blood Money. Man, I loved that game.

unfortunately its out November 30th here in the UK,which just happens to be the same day as Far Cry 3,so even with the lateness i will still be waiting probably until next year before picking it up

that's weird, I don't remember putting a link tag in, especially since I didn't have one.  I can't remember where I saw the videos, was hoping someone else around here had seen them too.  heck, it doesn't even show up as a link unless I hover over it, and even then it stays black with an underline and not other indication that the code is there.  huh.
