[PS3] God of War: Ascension - Multi player ?

I love the GoW series and as stated before GoW1 was the driving force for me to buy the PS2.

With that being said I never thought that GoW was missing anything - especially an MP component. Not sure that it will be a big win for the team.

More and more games will be getting multiplayer, whether they need it or not (see: Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 3, etc.), because this is a way for publishers to try to get more money for the products they sell.  If you can sell more maps or weapon packs or whatever, it keeps the game in the consumer's hands longer (assuming they like the multiplayer) and out of Gamestop's hands, and provides them with an ongoing revenue stream.

I think MP where you don't expect it can be fun, especially when they tie it into the storyline like Bioshock 2 and ME3. Uncharted MP is kind of nonsensical from a story perspective but it is also very good.

I love god of war, and will buy it on the day it releases.   I like 1, 2 and 3 equally well.  Hope 4 continues the tradition.

umm, I have no use for multiplayer on it.  Hopefully they do not slack on the single player.

I'm in the camp for a great single player experience, which I have no reason to believe it won't happen.. But to say " I'll buy this, but not even try the mp" seems silly.. What if is the "best" mp EVER?!? I doubt it, but new takes mp gaming are always welcome as far as I'm concerned.
