In rather unexpected news, Square Enix has announced that Drakengard 3 is in development for the PS3.  The game is being developed by Deadly Premonition developer Access Games, with some of the creators of the original Drakengard games and Nier on board as well.

Um, should they really be touting the development skills of the guys who made Deadly Premonition? I mean, that game was ambitious, but it was a cult hit in spite of its terrible gameplay, rather than because of it.
