Pretty good. I wish there was a next-gen version of this.
But you can play it on the PS3 - therefore, it is!

Damn, for a PS2 game those graphics look great! Since I liked TR: Legends so much it's safe to say I'm in; probably a 1st day purchase.

I doubt those are actual PS2 shots... the resolution is too high - probably pulled from a dev kit or something.

It's also coming out on PC, so it could be resized from those.

That would be my guess.

nice (the the movies floating around are pretty cool, also). i just replayed tomb raider a couple years ago (mac), & it is truly a classic piece of work (remember st francis' folly?), most worthy of a redo. looking forward to it...

The environments are a bit spare and some of the textures look a bit blurry, but it does look really good. IN!!

No one should post about this... I'm still pissed about it not being released for next-gen. Who releases one next gen game (Legends) and then drops down for the next one?

That would be my guess. Well if the PC version supports wide screen resolutions I'd be quite happy to get that version. I really liked the contol scheme for the XBox version of Legends and would probably enjoy a PS2 control layout. I did however play the original TR on PC, so for full nostalgia effect that might just be the ticket.

Yep. Sony abandoned PS2 2 years too soon.

Meh, they're nice for what will come out on the PS2 but as said before they are very barren. After playing next-gen stuff like Gears of War levels like this become more apparent now.

Ah, good observation I hadn't noticed this. Put me on the list of disappointed because there is no next-gen release though. I loved TR on the 360, I would have definately bought this one as well.

I enjoyed the last one on XBOX360. I wished they would bring this out on XBOX360.

I still liked TR III the best. Most TR environments are much like the ones pictured so I think it looks really good. I'm sure the game is going to be good, I'm not one to judge just on the graphics, but it looks very nice.

I did some research and found out that TR Legends for PC ran fine in widescreen. It did only support 16:9, but that would work for me since my PC outputs to my HDTV. Since the TR Anniversary is rumored to use the same graphics engine it should run in widescreen as well.
I'm going to wait for the 1st reviews to come in and then decide on which version based upon whether there's a significant difference in graphics quality.

Speaking of TR : Legend, it's going to be a part of Gametap's free service starting May 31.

I saw that. Gametap is starting to rock! It's probably going to be what is going to get me through the next few months of no big releases.
