teaser.  it is open world again, and not directly tied into the movies but set in the same universe.  Spidey is hunting Uncle Ben's killer, and other details include a Hero or Menace system, where it is good if you stop crimes and bad if you don't.

if it is anything like the first game I imagine I'll enjoy it more than the movie.

There was talk of this in the PS4 thread, but I figured I would bump this one up.  Despite the odd cancellation of the Xbox One version, the videos I've seen seem to make this look like it could be decent if you go in with appropriate expectations.

On a side note, I went to see how much the first Amazing Spider-man was on Steam, and was shocked to see it still full price at $49.99.  $10 more than the new one is selling for.  Way to go, Activision.  You really understand how to drive people to your games.   Roll Eyes

Oddly enough, despite Activision saying this wouldn't be launching on Xbox One with some vague delay, it's apparently available on the digital store regardless even though retail lists it as July 1st.

What in sam hill is going on with the release of this game on the XB1?

I have no intention on buying it, but damn I'd love to know what exactly happened.
