so, anyone grab this or going to be grabbing it?  for a big release things seem to be fairly quiet, Metacritic has no critic reviews and it seems to be lacking a marketing blitz.

why did i think it was a XBLA game?,It is the one they were going on about that has Co-Op(kirk and Spock)right?,I know there WAS a XBLA game,i just thought this was one as well

Even though i am counting down the days until I see the movie,i don't have much interest in this, perhaps when its cheaper i may pick it up or unless Forum effect goes bonkers

After reading the quick bit on Kotaku on the SP ai,  it sounds like the worst escort mission ever was expanded to a full game.   Brain-dead companion that you need to rescue after running directly at the enemy.

That they said the best reason to play co op is so you have someone to laugh at the game's flaws with makes me skeptical about paying any where full price for this.

I managed to find a few reviews

CVG-4.5/10

Prejudiced after years of being burned by promising, but ultimately rubbish, film spin-offs, we weren't expecting much from Star Trek. There are some decent ideas in here - like being able to scan the environment, Metroid Prime-style, with the tricorder - but they're outweighed by flat combat, clunky controls, and uninspiring level design. Strip away the license and you're left with an underwhelming shooter punctuated by endless hacking mini-games and woeful space combat.

I haven't heard of this site before, but damn that closing paragraph,LOL

I have no idea what Digital Extremes did for three years. What did they even do with all of that Paramount money? They had plenty of time to make a bad game and then fix it into a good game at least twice. This isnít even stupidity at this point, itís just malice. This is the product of lowest-bidder development, a harsh example of why we canít have good things and a reminder that the movie tie-in game is an unsalvageable wreck from which one cannot recover, regardless of the resources thrown at it. Star Trek: The Video Game is dire work, a terrible place. Few games can make Dead Island: Riptide look like a Blizzard release, but Digital Extremes has done it.

Do not make eye contact, do not hold its hand. If your friends need a coop partner, they are not your friends anymore. Avoid this game at all costs.

Are you ready for the surprise twist? Star Trek is also broken.

Three times I had to quit Star Trek and restart simply because the game ceased to function. A door didn't open, a cutscene didn't trigger, whatever. It just stopped. Nearly every animation is glitchy. The Gorn are designed to clip through themselves. Your AI partner will sometimes sprint irrationally from a fight, occasionally when you need him to come fix you up so you don't die.

Rock,Paper,shotgun-I can't actually see a score,probably for the best

It all looks like something developed years ago, the creepy almost-right character faces opening and closing their mouths like ventriloquist dummies, rather than properly lip-syncing, the dull environments taking as much advantage of Starfleetís lack of wall textures as they can. And most of all, itís so achingly repetitive. No matter whether youíre on the Enterprise, a Starfleet star base, or an alien planet the other side of the universe, youíre still just running between computers that open doors and shooting at the same five lizards. For hours and hours. Even the ending shown at the beginning is a fake-out, letting you optimistically think you must almost be done by the time you reach it again. (And wow, do they cop out of that cliffhanger.)

I think what Iím trying to say is: donít buy Star Trek: The Videogame. Itís awful. Really, really awful

I watched the preview for this game a few days ago on my X360. Usually previews are crafted to omit or hide blemishes, but this looked to be about the worst action game iin virtually every category n the past 10 year.. That preview just screamed steaming pile of crap from the Star Trek universe!
