a teaser was ninja released a couple of days ago announcing the M&B sequel.  can't wait to see what they do with this!

Yeah, I'm excited by the idea of a brand new game rather than an expansion built on the old stuff, but having seen nothing real I will hold off judgement.

That looks decent enough.  Nothing cutting edge, but I'd expect Mount & Blade to be more about the gameplay than fancy visuals anyway.

Funny that it's almost a year to the day since that first teaser post.

Exactly it's all about the gameplay for me!  I spent many hours with the original and it was a blast.

Hehe, I think I have around 5-600 hours in this game by now...such a great game with the mods. Eh, I mean, Warband edition, not this one ;-)

I agree about the graphics and it's one of the things I like about TaleWorlds - they create a game that looks decent enough, but not too hardware demanding. Which translates into a broad user base with a decent number of modders amongst them.
