was browsing the Steam discussions for this, and it seems like people are having issues with the black and white giving them eye strain.

Main problem is that they're doing black and white with a simple and harsh filter.

Black and white of older films actually had a lot of depth to it if handled right.

And games that really do interesting stuff with it like The Black Swan integrate it more into gameplay.

Here, it seems like a decision oriented towards reducing art asset production costs. Even if that's not the case. Tongue

like the current crop of sidescrollers that only use silhouettes. sorry, LIMBO got there first... and did pretty good at it. the other games just look lazy.

well, this is on sale this week on Steam, so I went to the discussion section to see how things are shaping up.  I don't have the game yet so I cannot comment on it, but apparently they put in a color slider to put actual color in the game.

looking at the store page I'm guessing this is a new shot:



it sounds like you can control the intensity of the color, so maybe it can get even more vibrant.
