I do not own a PS2 or Xbox.  My PC and gamecube keeps me happy.  Though it is tough to read all the threads about San Andreas and Halo 2 lately.  Patiently waiting for the PC versions to come out.

X-men Legends is one of the few cross platform games that has made it to the gamecube.  Has anyone played it on the gamecube yet?  I would only be playing single player.  I don't buy too many games.  I have limited gametime, so I'm very selective on my game purchases.  My last GC game I purchased was Tales of Symphony.  Top-notch 5 star game and one of my favorite RPGs ever!  But now I want to play a more action type game.  Would X-men fit the bill or should I wait for Goldeneye?

There are some damn good cube games coming out or have already come out.  Paper Mario and Pikmin 2 are on my must buy list.  Anyone play through Pikmin 2 yet?  There is Goldeneye and Metroid Prime 2 (I loved the first one) still to come out this year.  Residential Evil 4 looks great too.

What has happened to Animal Crossing 2?  I haven't heard anything recently.  Is it still coming out?

I rented X-Men Legends for the Xbox.  I thought it was the best action rpg I have played in a while.  Unfortunately I had it on Blockbuster's gamepass , and had to turn it in for San Andreas.  I may buy it eventually though.
As far as upcomming Gamecube releases, I am mildly excited about Metroid Prime 2.  Other than that, I'm sad to say that my Cube will continue to gather dust.  I just can't bring myself to trade it in even though I never use it anymore.  I still want to try out FF Chrystal Cronicles.  But to really enjoy that it looks like multiplayer is the way to go.  And I refuse to but a second Gameboy just for this purpose.

Have you played F-ZERO GX?  It's 20 bucks now and a really, really great game.  I don't like racers, but I'm really enjoying FZGX.

I finally broke down and got a PS2, mostly for the Konami/Capcom action games that you can't get on the Cube.  Mmmm, Maximo.

I have Xmen legends and I think it's great, of course it only gets better with more people playing, but it's a solid game.

I have a review of X-Men Legends for the GC that I'm finishing up now.  I thought it was pretty good but the control scheme was a bit frustrating.  Look for the review in the coming days.
