I think I may have found the perfect game.  Last night I picked up Ultimate Card Games and I have to say it is incredible.

First they have a ton of games.  Spades, Hearts, Cribbage, Canasta, Eucre, 15 types of solitare, and several kinds of poker.  That alone makes it a great great game becuase it plays to the strengths of the GBA - quick games.

However they didn't just make it fluf.  They put in a lot of backgrounds, a lot of music, and a 3d face creator which alctually has more variate than most PC games.  I was able to create a player who actually looks like me, something I couldn't do it KOTOR (last game I remember that let you pick your characters looks)

They also included a *spectacular* save system which basically auto saves after each hand so you can play for under a minute at a time if that is all you have available.

Check out the IGN review for a ton more details.

If you have any interest in playing card games this is a must buy game.

Where the hell did you find it?  I've been looking everywhere.  EB doesn't even list it in their system and the Gamestop near me has showed 0 copies for quite a while.

You could do the "Buy Now" option on that page and it will take you to the IGN Gamestore (which is actually Gamestop) where you can buy it.

Looks like a lot of Gamestops around here have it...some have 4+ copies available.

After calling all around I finally found it at Gamestop - the last choice for gaming (maybe that should be there slogan!)

I think I was mostly lucky though.  I imagine most people will have to order it.

What makes no sense about that is the kid at the store said "we just can't seem to keep these in stock!"  Now I am no marketing guy, but it seems to be that if a game consitently sells out then it would be smart to order more copies of that.  Now maybe that is just stupid - trying to supply what there is a demand for.

Oh well I am in gaming heaven.

Stupid question: How do you load a different player? Wife wants to play with her own character and I can create and load it but after loading you hit "B" to go back and it's the original guy (me)!

What am I doing wrong?

Don't forget Ultimate Brain Games.  Both are titles I would like to add to my collection.

It's amazing with so many Mah Jongg games released in Japan I have to pick up a compilation cart to play one on the GBA.

Somebody could probably just crap out a solitaire/mine sweeper cart and sell millions!

Right after posting, I checked Gamestop again and as of today they had 4+ copies (they didn't yesterday).

I may pick this up just because it has cribbage.  I love cribbage, but no one plays it with me.
