Should be in stores now or tomorrow (6/21).  I haven't played a Sim City game since the original but plan on picking this up.

I was going to grab it, but some of the early reviews are scaring me off a bit.  Will probably wait until I can find a used copy.

Love your avatar, BTW.  smile

Very curious about this one.  It seems like a perfect match for the DS, but I too have been scared by the early reviews.

Hmm problems with the stylus.  That doesn't surprise me.  I had problems with it as well on Age of Empires.  I really don't think the stylus is all it's cracked up to be, especially for games that require pinpoint accuracy like this.  Too bad the game isn't being released on the PSP with larger screen, better graphics and more media space.

If the game tiles really are the same size as the stylus tip, I'd say it's more the fault of the game designer than the DS.  The stylus was plenty accurate for me on Ouendan when I had to rapidly hit tiny (but not too tiny!) dots all over the place on insane difficulty.

I hope it's just a case of a reviewer being nitpicky.

Gamespot Review 7.0

Okay, I'm about 6-7 hours in and having a good time with it.  A few minor complaints (advisor, save slot, zoom) but they are only minor annoyances.

It's a scaled down Sim City that works.  I recommend.

Edit: Not sure which reviewer had a problem with the stylus but I'm getting along just fine.

Stylus works fine.

It's not impressing me at the current moment...just feels off, don't know exactly what the problem is.

Well Gamespot only gave it a 70%
Looks like I'm gonna pass on this one.  Shame.
