i hate it when you have to chase franchises all over the place,with KH,i have stuck with just the main two after the dabble with GBA CoM..fine if its next gen,but not when the consoles are all out at the same time

Metal Gear is another,i would rather they at least appear as well where the main story is (ie/PS2-3)..then maybe one day i can finish Port Ops and actually play Peace Walker

Wow - the game is coming sooner than expected.  Square Enix announced today that it will be released in North America and Europe on January 14.  There's a thread at NeoGAF with some details and English screenshots.

figured I'd toss this in here:  news about Kingdom Hearts 3D.  These 2 parts make me more excited for this one:

They're also currently going through world selection for the game's Disney areas. The plan is to use all new Disney worlds this time. It appears that Traverse Town and other original creations will carry over into the game, though.

There could be some deeper meaning to the "3" in the title. In addition to indicating the use of 3D visual output, the game will be connected to Kingdom Hearts III both in terms of gameplay systems and story. It's possible that the ending of 3D will lead into the story of KHIII.

Odd choice since Disney pretty much ignores that movie, at least in the theme parks.

you know, I'm not sure I ever saw the Disney version.  If I did it didn't leave an impression, but I'll toss it in my Netflix queue to see.

The parks could have a great Welcome to Hell ride through the Archdeacon's fireplace.

The movie is hard to market, between the truly scary moments, the ugly main character and the fact that it's in France, however, it doesn't get enough credit.  Nice to see it in the game.  Hopping around Notre Dame could be fun.

I just picked up Re: Coded yesterday, so I am not very far into the game.  Just into Wonderland now.  I like the change in the game mechanincs.  I wasnt all that pleased with KHII.  It's nice to see the first story with new stuff thrown in.

My quickie take: It's a fun, breezy little game with an overly engineering leveling system (aka the board) which is typical of Square. I'm liking it and I never was a Disney guy beyond their movies (ergo, I'm looking forward to a lot of the upcoming cameos).
