Hit the front page and give a shot to the big banner.  Anybody have any questions?  I really can't recommend this title enough...

Do you still have to memorise all the combos? Or are they a bit more 'freestyle', like in Ninja Gaiden? That's what I didn't like about the previous MK, the fact that you can't play it with a buddy who doesn't know any of the combos by heart.

Most of the combinations are pretty easy.  The really long combos take some practice to pull of though.  I suppose I might have mentioned that there is also a 'move list' menu accessable at any time that shows a good chunk of the moves. (no fatailities though)

Yeah, I know, the previous game had the move list too. So versus matches ususally revolved around looking at the list for a minute, memorising 3 simple combos, and then frantically trying to pull these off.

I liked the game, but I can't go back to it after the masterpiece that is NG smile

EDIT: No, most games revolved around selecting Scorpion, and yelling "Get ooover here" a lot biggrin

Man, I dunno who wrote that review; but they are a total jackass.

oh, wait...

jk Ron. slywink  Nicely done. Here's the acid test ... lets see you give away the game to a reader... any reader. I know, let's pick names outta the hat.

[shuffles names]

oooo, and it goes to.... PURGE!!
if you reply with "it's in the mail" I don't believe you liked the game.
If you reply with "Get your own damned copy, you letch" then that's par for the course, and you clearly are still playing it. biggrin

Heh...I doubt he has a retail copy of the game.  He probably has review build copy, one that won't play on normal Xbox systems.
