I may have to admit that I'm not playing Thief this time and haven't had the overwhelming desire to return. I'll be spending more time with the Vita and probably Castlestorm.

Maybe some Thief, or I might start Remember Me on PS3.  Or maybe something else entirely...who knows.

BF4 PC
ES:Oblivion PC

Finished the Coop on Far Cry 3 today so that's all 1000gs. Messing around with Tomb Raider again. May start Wolfenstein on PS3.

Thinking about ordering a Xbone from Amazon sometime soon so I can return to my normal BF4 Arstech group. Anyone have any discount codes?

I finished Halo 4 early in the week, so I've moved on to Gears of War 3 based on ATB's recommendation.  So far it hasn't grabbed me in the same way that the second game did, but I only just finished the first act.  One way or another, my hope it to have it completed before inFamous: Second Son comes out this Friday.

Gratch also sold me on trying the new Diablo III patch and he was right: it makes the game *much* more fun.  A lot of attention has been paid to the new loot system, but there are also new power-ups, new challenges, and new monsters with new abilities that really spice up the combat encounters.  Many of the character abilities have also been rebalanced and shuffled around, so it's been a lot of fun experimenting with all my old Wizard runes.

Prior to this reinvention patch, I'd finished two complete playthroughs with a monk and one with the Wizard.  I'll probably play some more with both those characters on their new difficulty levels, then maybe start up a new class from the beginning.

Wasn't me...I haven't played with the new patch yet

You played the console version which implemented many of the same ideas.  You already owned and had completed the PC version, indicating that you felt strongly enough about the adjustments to shell out more money to get them early, and the fact that you completed a full playthough means even more given the fact that you never waste time on games that aren't fully engaging.

That's a better recommendation than most. nod

Spent most of my time with Thief, finishing up most of the side missions and getting through the first 5 campaign missions as well.

Put about 3 hours into Titanfall, which made me realize that MP shooters just simply aren't my thing at all.  Even the good ones that are (supposedly) more n00b friendly.

I finished Diablo 3 Act I with my wizard and then loaded up my monk who was ripped apart the moment she set foot in Old Tristram.  Apparently the gear used for killing Diablo on a second playthrough at Monster Power 6 is insufficient to put down shambling zombies on a third playthrough set to Hard post-patch.  I turned things back to Normal long enough to gear up and now I'm about halfway through Act I with things back on Hard.

I also played through Acts II and III in Gears of War 3.  ATB was right: the story gets a lot more engaging the further I go, and the game's willingness to mix up the game play with new twists every level is really keeping the experience fresh.

Then I watched last night's episode of The Walking Dead and realized I don't ever want to play, smile, or eat anything ever again.  I'm just going to curl into a tight little ball and weep away my dreams in a room without doors.
