Sleeping Dogs is the new Title for True Crime Hong Kong that last year Activision dropped(even though reportedly pretty much finished)and Square Enix picked up Activision hold the rights to the name 'True Crime',so Square Enix had to go with a name change due out for PC/PS3 and 360 in the second half of this year CVG  link below has a live action trailer Eurogamer |

I have to expect that they will not be keeping the name.
that said, they could call it Genuine Misdemeanor: Little Shanghai and I would still buy it. I enjoyed the first one somewhat and always appreciate what non R* sandbox games bring to the table.

Machinima.com Video here with United Front Games executive producer and Square Enix London Publisher some good footage of the game included,as the guy says in the video it looks like Hong Kong is definitely the star of the game as it looks pretty great,all footage shown is pre-alpha,which is more impressive if true shows some gunplay on foot,rooftop chase through Hong Kong,motorcycle action and the mechanics for cover and vault while shooting EDIT:some screenies     that last one looks more like artwork,but whatever it shows that there will be speedboat chases more pics in the linkI am actually getting more and more interested with this one |

looks like having Just Cause 2 save games on your hard drive will get you a little bonus. I think I still have those saves on my PC; if not it won't take much to re-install and create one. |

I saw that; I am definitely getting the PC version and Squeenix hasn't done any horrible PC ports recently, plus I have some credit with them too. |

just watched about 20 minutes of a Giant Bomb quick look at the 360 version. at about 19:00 you see some definite pop-in, and apparently it's impossible to take a spill off of a motorcycle. still, they say it is a preview build so things could be a bit more polished. |

I am weak. That combined with the GreenMan sale made me cave. looks like they really screwed up. they said keys would be out yesterday for pre-load, but I only just got my key less than an hour ago. apparently they also sent some people the wrong keys too. |
