Condemned OWNS Fear.  Ok, let me rephrase, the first 60% or so of Condemned OWNS Fear.  Cant wait for the sequel.

Condemned may have been the best launch game for the 360.  It really was phenomenal for a new franchise.

I had it but traded it off before I finished it.  I may have to pick it up again someday and finish it.

i finished F.E.A.R and i wanted fear, but all i got was a decent enough FPS,some good parts in it,but nothing we hadnt seen before

condemned, which i really want to get back to(i always buy new games and lose the thread so start again)...condemened had you in the dark, with the drug users in the derelict building coming after you...but,they didnt just come straight out, sometimes they would hide, some times, they would follow you for a time and attack you when you are least expecting it...sometimes you would just hear things being moved as they walked past them, and it would have you turning round in circles not knowing where they were

good game, and great using the police equipment to find fingerprints and what have you

PS...silent hill 2 is still the most pant wetting game i think i have played

I think you have yet to play the Fatal Frame series then.  Silent Hill is my #2 scariest game series ever, but Fatal Frame is far and away #1

I'm also wicked psyched for a Condemned sequel.  It's one of the games I point to whenever someone says that the 360 launch lineup sucked.

Some games are tense (Resident Evil 4) and some games are creepy (System Shock 2, Thief), but only Fatal Frame 2 has ever triggered such frequent, vivid, and intense nightmares that I was forced to stop playing.

I loved Condemned until the pool sequence. I had to get a hex editor to enable cheat codes to bypass that damn scene.  But I played it on PC, maybe it was easier on a console.

Same game on the console and it was just as hard. However I didn't have too much difficulty getting past it.

I have the first one but beyond the initial new game 'wow' it really hasn't gotten its claws into me.  I plan on grabbing the second to put in my backlog so I'll at least have it if I want to play it.

My favorite 360 game to date.  Can't wait for the second.  I have played through Condemned at least 3 times.  Don't know why really.  Maybe because I relate to the characters.

This isn't my type of game, I'm not really into the scary thrillers, but I'm glad to see that it's getting a sequel.

Very good news indeed.  I loved Condemned.  I'd turn off the lights and only play it at night, with the headphones on.  The atmospheric sounds were just hella creepy to me, and the headphones allowed me to hear every aspect (the mall level was just insane!)  My wife snuck up behind me and grabbed me while I was playing through that level and I nearly had an infarction on the spot.  Can't wait for more!
