first Bullwinkle.....well i am like i say only on level 3(out of 6)..and the first level i already knew from the demo
second Denoginizer...well
cod3 VS Moh online
cod3- more maps..i think ..actually i have no idea how many in cod...i just know its more than 6 more people..i think you can have 32 player matches, whereas MoH is just 12 more gamemodes...war,DM,TDM,CTF etc...MoH -3 modes.airborne TDM,TDM and objective airborne(CTF) DLC-if you like that thing,...as i said, the back of the box for MoH doesnt have it listed COD-no lag, they use everyones connection towards a room...MoH suffers spawn kills for MoH,not as much of an issue in COD
MoH- weapons are more balanced i feel maps.although smaller and fewer, look a little better than the COD ones ranked takes a while, but IMO,not as long as COD3 ranked maps when playing an airborne game(theres airborne and normal TDM),you dont spawn you jump out of a plane...good and bad, bad, you can get shot out of the sky, good, nice sniping posistions on the roofs
both are good online, but i would prolly have to go with COD for lastability......the few maps really kills MoH for me,it is fun but i wonder whether i will still be playing in a few weeks

yeah, I've been hearing the last mission gets outright ridiculous, especially: Thankfully the WW2 CoD games never went that crazy. It's a solid sub $20 title now.

I;m playing it and liking it A LOT, but the game is surprisingly difficult in single player for me. I've played with a lot of you in Rainbow 6 Vegas, and you know I am an average to above average FPS player, but damn, the AI is kicking my ass in MoH, which probably is a good thing. I might......MIGHT, have to actually drop the difficulty off of default, down to casual (?) to get further into the game.
Overall, I think it kicks mucho ass and while some might disagree, I think it's worth the full price.

I have yet to make it through a mission (possibly even a mission section) without dying.

I have never, ever died in a shooter as often in this game. I wouldn't mind if if the checkpoints made more sense (completing an objective is at least saved, but whether you can get back anywhere near that on your "re-jump" is anyone's guess. Anyway, I am stubborn and wanted to at least complete the sucker's ridiculous campaign. So I am finally at the Der Flak Tower, and gradually painfully working through the objectives (I seem to have 1 AA gun, 1 elevator hydraulic control and a few ground level half traks to suffer through). I am not so much a WW2 purist as I am sort of befuddled why EA suddenly went with wacko Panzerfaust gas mask wearing troops, and trenchcoat wearing MG42 from the hip-firing (hey, why not let me run around with a Browning 30 caliber on my hip and a nonsensical gas mask too?), and a fictional flak tower that makes no sense and making you reload and replay the same segments of the game 25, 50, 100 however many it takes, to complete missions (I'm talking at normal skill at least). It's really not "fun" in any sense of the word and is as close to WWII as Unreal Tournament 2007. I mean, if they're going to go that far away from anything approaching WWII, why not just set it in the future like BF2142 and stop pretending? If you could at least quicksave or save a little bit when you want to (with consoles having hard drives, there's just no excuse), it would reduce frustration and I doubt it would make the campaign all that shorter. I'm just forcing myself to finish so I get my 50 bucks worth and hopefully put it up for "FT/FS" here in the trading section. Oh, btw I'm playing the PC version. I couldn't find a PC thread on this, so I hope ya'll don't mind this one PC impression. Here's a screenshot: I did finally find a good sniper perch in that crane tower at the top of the flak tower: From there you could basically snipe all the ridiculous spawns until the spigot is mostly turned off (so the AI knuckleheads and you can clear out the flak).

My gripe with this game is the above mentioned completely ridiculous descent into Wolfenstein style stupidity toward the end of the game.
It's a really solid WWII shooter all the way up until the last level or so at which point the game starts throwing ultra armored nazi super soldiers that fire MG42's from the hip like the Special Unit soldiers in Jin-Roh.
So.. so stupid. It would be different if the whole game was characterized that way but it isn't. It's all relatively standard WWII fare and then towards the end of the second to last level they flip the switch. All of the sudden you're walking around a flak tower that's so exaggerated it would fit in more in Gears of War than it does in this game and you're surrounded by a bunch of Soldiers that inexplicably survive multiple hits from a Panzerschreck.
It was fun until the last two levels though.
*edited for grammar and to acknowledge that Blackjack said some of this before me*

Sehen Sie? Wer lacht jetzt? Ah Ha Ha! Ahem. Anyway, I thought I was done when I got this message: But like the Energizer Bunny, Der Flak Tower keeps going, and going, and going. *sigh* Actually now that I have to replay from a parachute drop onto a ledge up high on the tower (to try to get back to some control room that might be the finale), I've memorized making a mad dash in, through a hail of bullets, down a spiral staircase, and to an elevator. I've done it about 99 times now, so it's almost become like a 1970s arcade game where you just do the same routine over and over and over from memory. The dashing through the hail of bullets is the part that's kinda fun.

I'm going to try to finish the end of Der Flakem today (PC). Final push. I've got to remove it for hard drive space soon. Addendum: *every* Time I think I'm finished, I get another checkpoint save and "go meet the engineers in the blah blah room." ARGH! What, the engineers don't have a watch or a compass?

holy freakin smokes is the sp campaign ridiculous. i'm on map 5 and towards the end (i believe) and i can't get through the train yard. those damn nazi elite suckers just won't die. and the continued swarm and waves of enemies is frustrating. never have i died this much in a game....ever. i'm not even sure if i'm gonna try and finish it, might just go ahead and ship it back to GF.

you will hate the last level then. those elite F-ers are all over the place, sometimes more than one at a time. why they ever decided to take what was a very fun and somewhat realistic ww2 game and through in those super soldiers is beyond me. they made the end level pretty bad. surprisingly enough, the level is based on a real fortress, which i never knew about. odd. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flak_tower

well, finally got around to playing through this. it started out promising enough, but I don't know WTF the devs were thinking towards the end. why couldn't they have stuck with historical accuracy?
