They reset the leaderboards, fixed some of the lag and disconnects, and made it so the losers disconnecting during ranked matches get a loss now.

That was my exact experience. I, personally, blame the 360 controller. * gellar once ruled with Ryu. While the 360's D-pad is indeed ill suited to this game, I can't put all the blame there. I put most of it on Capcom for porting the arcade game (and it's super cheap AI) and not the versions we saw on the home systems. Had I known that's what they were doing I never would have bought it. |

I had the same issue with the pad, so I bought the arcade stick.
edit: This is not a direct port of the arcade version, I play that on MAME and this one is closer to the sega version imo.

That sounds great. My only question: do you get a victory if your opponent disconnnects, or do they just get a loss? Because as Mario Kart DS showed, just giving the opponent a loss isn't enough to curb disconnection behavior. I'm just as pissed either way if they disconnect just short of a victory I fairly earned only to have it not count for me. |

You get a win, they get a loss if they disconnect during or after the game. They get a win, you get no loss if you disconnect at the char select screen. Some people just sit there waiting for you to give up and disconnect so they get a win. It'll be fixed next patch I'm sure, for now I tab over and play a PC game  |
