If I did decide to grab a 360 and Oblivion, it would because my computer really has no chance of running that game.

My plan is to get it first for the 360, since I want to see it on the 57" HD set in the living room, and because my computer won't run it nearly as well.  By the time mods for the PC version are out (which won't be for a while, folks), the price will have dropped down.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, but since the Gamestop near me sucks when it comes to getting PC games I'll probably have the 360 version a whole week before the PC (if they come out the same day).

Awesome news.  I was worried I'd have my 360 with nothing to play for a couple weeks (assuming that my spot as part of EB's shipment two becomes part of shipment one as I'm sort of anticipating)

EB, To the Game and other sites are showing 11/21 for the PC and 11/15 for 360.  Our release dates will adjust that.  Essentially (as the 360 dosen't come out itself until 11/22) they're coming out the same time.
