I think since the day shift is out, we can pretty much assume we won't see the demo until tomorrow at the earliest. Just because they gave MS the demo today doesn't mean they'll be in any rush to get it on the Marketplace today.

It's happened with Condemned, PGR3, CoD2 and King Kong (although I only rented Kong and CoD2, but money was spent on them doing that so I count them in this equation). The only demos that have come out without me buying the game first are the ones I have zero interest in (madden, fight night, full auto) with the only exception being NFS:MW, but it's a racing game so I would have never considered getting it (and I still haven't bought it).

I totally agree. I think somewhere someone who has control of WHEN the demo comes said, "You know, the hype on this one is so high that we will sell a gajillion units if we do nothing. Plus, we may put the demo out and people will start nitpicking it to death and those who were gonna get it on hype alone may have second thoughts and we may lose a few thousand sells on day one. So, lets wait a tad."
I think the WHEN of it all is a sales decision-in reverse.
