Canadian folks, I picked up my copy an hour ago at EB in toronto, although they only had enough to fill pre-orders.   BB and FS aren't usually too far off on new releases, so they should have copies available tomorrow (if they don't have them out already that is)

Good game to everybody who played last night!  The kills were aplenty, and outside of the occasional person getting dropped out due to lag it was pretty fun.

Well, I picked up my copy tonight from GS with the awesome 2 for 1 trade.  Went home and realized that I lOVE this game.  One game I got 35 Kills!  Woot!!

So, does M often feel uncomfortable when playing online?

Thinking about it now and the kind of people I've played with, I think I've answered my own question.  She probably gets quite a few "OMG!  UR a GRL?" from gaming in text, but when that's said in a squeeky voice through your headset it might be enough to make you want to disconnect right there.

Of course, I prefer to stay on her good side, after all, she is behind me most of the time with a sniper rifle.  

Unfortunately, my free Gold sub ran out not too long ago, and I'm really low on cash right now.  I have to wait until I start my new job and get my paycheck before I can subscribe again.

She's deadly with a sniper rifle.  That headshot achievement is most likely in the near future for her.  Mine is a ways off, but I will get it.  I WILL GET IT!!!

Playing ranked games against other humans is so frustrating...especially when you don't get to see them outlined in red!  All this co-op and campaign stuff is making me spoiled!

Thats what I love about this game.  If you rush in guns blazing you will be killed.   Last night when we had 8 players( LOVE Jarrodhk connection) It was awesome to hear people talking about contacts and setting up cross fires.  Hopefully, they will release more map packs for free.  We run some of these maps so much that the challenge is starting to be mute, but its fun nonetheless.

Soulchilde:  Yeah thats the one drawback of the co-op side right now.  The variety is a little on the slim side.  

With 8 people we can probably do a little team play to break up the routine.  I'm going to try and figure out what map has the attack chopper on it so we can mess with that.  (besides I want the 100 choppers killed achievement)

I finally tried some online play with a buddy.  We weren't getting any other people when we had co-op games up, so we started a team last man standing.  I wound up on the red team, and had a pretty good game taking down three guys before getting killed.

We get back to the lobby, and everyone's screaming at me because, apparently unlike the entire rest of the game, if you're on the red team, red highlights mean friendly and blue are enemy.  Stupid as I think that is, I can deal with that.  However, having a bunch of strangers yelling at me about how could anyone be so f***ing stupid was not so amusing.

Combine that with getting shot constantly and getting to spend much of my time sitting and watching reminds me why I simply never play online.  I'll stick with strictly single player games from here on out, thanks very much.  I realize I suck at gaming, I don't need to spend my leisure time getting yelled at online about it.

Thank god Oblivion comes out soon.

The problem is you weren't playing with GTers.  Play with some of us and I am sure it will change your mind.
