I am curious about a few things, so please indulge me...

First, does anyone know if this game is supposed to be a fun multiplayer game, ala Crimson Skies for the Xbox?

Assuming the answer to that is "Yes"...
With Oblivion coming out around the same time, does anyone in here actually plan on buying (or renting I suppose) Blazing Angels and playing some multiplayer?

If the contingent of GT'ers playing this game multiplayer is big, then I will purchase this game day 1.  If not, due to Oblivion or something else, I will probably rent it first.

I am not expecting a big turnout here, but similar to what we did with Ghost Recon: If you're IN! - please post here.

I have this game preordered. I am sure I will be able to pull myself away from Oblivion for a bit to give the multi a whirl... smile

I'm in the same boat.  Unless I hear bad reviews before I get a chance to pick it up, I will be playing side by side with Oblivion.

Can't wait.  If this is nearly as good as Crimson Skies I'll love it.  I remember back in the 'old' days loving games like Aces of the Pacific, and hopefully this will be as fun.

I'm very IN! on this as well.

Only a Lockdown-like level of suck could keep me away.

Crimson Skies with 360 graphics would be PERFECT!

I can't get a clear vibe of what this game is supposed to be. If it is a high-flyin' action-y game, which it appears to be, I may give it a whirl. But I'm not sure if it really is that or something a bit more serious.

I've seen videos, it's more action based.  Slightly more realistic flight scheme than Crimson Skies, but that's not saying much since they're both very actiony flight schemes.

The previews hint at some sort of online co-op mode.  Not sure if it's just for two players or ten.

I thought this was delayed to the fall.  Apparently I got mixed up.

I'm very interested, it'll have to go on my Gamefly Q!  smile

Depending on what kind of word-of-mouth this game gets, when released, I may pick it up.

This was a preorder for me the first time I saw video of the seemingly overwhelming number of fighters duking it out over Paris, going through, under and around the Arc de Triumph.  The pilot chatter was great too.  The setting sun dynamically reflecting off all of the canopies, mixed in with tracer rounds flying through the sky, flak explosions, and planes crashing and burning seemed so real, like watching nose camera footage from the war in HD.  If it ends up sucking I'll cancel the preorder, but it looked and sounded amazing.

I've heard a rumor that it will have both the original DW5 game in it and the Empires game....is that true?

They would have to seriously screw it up for me not to buy it.  Moriarty and I have racked up innumerable hours playing the dynasty warriors series.

This game has some of the worst print ads I've had the displeasure of seeing in a looong time.  The characters look so damn generic I want to draw little mustaches on them just to spice them up.

I think this is one of those rare moments when an ad has actually spoken to me and yelled, "Don't go near this game!"

Well, I found an article written by Team Xbox regarding the multiplayer part of the game, and the different single, team, and Co-op modes which are available.  This game just skyrocketed into the realm of "no-brainer".

If you haven't seen the article yet...

Here it is

I can't wait.

We get to fly and fight in London during The Battle of Britain, Pearl Harbor, Midway, Paris "La Liberation de Paris", Normandy, and Berlin, to name a few locations (there are more).

I hope they get this one right, it could be a lot of fun.
