So, anyone have a recommendation (or a comparison site) for wireless plastic guitars?

I'm a big fan of the standard RB2 wireless Fender.  I think most people seem to prefer the Guitar Hero one though.

The Guitar Hero 3 guitar is by far my favorite.

I recommend the Guitar Hero 3 guitar. It plays the best for me for strumming, I don't like the mushy feel of the rock band guitar when strumming. It also seems to work better for raising for star power (or whatever it is called).

Mine as well until one of the buttons stopped responding reliably. I like the GHWT guitar now. The mushiness of the RB strum bars is a problem for me.

What he said. I have 4 fake guitars and the RB2 Strat is the best, IMO.

I got one of the wired X-Plorer guitars for the 360 for free from Gamestop, and I have to say I'm not too fond of it.  the neck is shorter than I'm used to compared to the RB2 guitar, which throws off my sense of were the buttons are.  Luckily it works with GH Aerosmith so unless I end up getting GH 2 or 3 I won't have to use it except for a second controller.

I prefer the GH3 wireles guitar.  But the RB2 strat is nice because of the built in calibration feature and port to plug in a pedal to launch overdrive.

I have trouble with fast strumming on the RB2 guitar do to the lack of "clickiness" in the strum bar.

I love my GH3 Les Paul, and used to hate the Rock Band guitar.  A week ago, I was forced to use (it was all they had) a Rock Band 2 guitar for a couple of hours, and after a while, I was able to get the same percentages / streaks as I would with the GH3 guitar.  The RB2 guitar might be a bit easier to play faster down strokes than the GH3 one.  I can't say that either one is "better" now, its just your preference on how it feels to play it.  That is why guitar companies make lots of different real guitars right?  It's about what feels best to you when you play.

I much prefer the buttons on the RB2 Wireless one. I kinda want to get the RB2 Bass guitar with the split strum bar.

The fret buttons are slightly further apart on the bass than on the guitar and it has caused me some problems when switching back and forth.  If you stick with either bass or guitar for one evening it isn't really an issue, but it's kind of a pain otherwise.

I've played a bunch with the bass and I like it. I wish it wasn't so expensive. having 4 guitars already, buying a fifth just because it's cool seems a step too far.
