got this from the register today...

Quote
the footage of the plaintiff was taken when she was 17 years old, she claims. That not only renders the content illegal, but her status as a minor negates any consent she may have given to the game's developers to take and/or use the material.

here's a question for everyone.  if you bought a game with a minor baring her breasts, could you be punished for child pornography?

i guess this means no guy game 2:  girls gone wild edtion.

oh, and the ebay price of this has jumped up a bit too.  i wonder if they'll pull the plug on these sales.

Good question. I thought the Girls Gone Wild producers had similar problems, but becuase the girls showed fake ID (or something along that line) they got off scott free. Plus at one point I belive that I heard that with a parent/gurdian consent, girls under 18 could still show their breastsisis.  :?:

You would have to know for certain they were underage and peruse it for sexual purposes. Child pornography for 17 year olds is rarely even prosecuted. They have enough trouble trying to get the guys who are going after 12 year olds. When I got married the first time my wife was only 17 at the time. So it could be legal for me to have sex with her but illegal to look at her neekid pictures. Some laws are totally screwed.

Sounds like a publicity stunt... though that would be giving the intelligence of the creators too much credit.

I hope the teenage plantiff goes on a speaking tour throughout the United States so she can educate others about this ordeal.  Otherwise, how will other people know that taking off their clothes in front of some random person's video camera may someday come back to haunt them?

that would be interesting if it turned out to be true.

oh, AA, if people knew not to do something because it might come back to haunt them, we would be living in a fantasy world.  people do dumb things every day and fail to learn from their mistakes.  why would a 17 yo girl even use common sense to begin with?
