Hyper Jam, an arena brawler with a neon aesthetic, to be released on consoles and PC on February 12th

Neon-soaked arena brawler Hyper Jam will soon be passing a punch onto consoles and PC next month. It will feature online and local play for up to four players and arenas full of ’80s-inspired goodness, environmental hazards, and chaos.

In battle, players will use their combat prowess and situational awareness to strike other players and make use of environmental hazards like speeding trains in a Neo-Tokyo subway or the treacherous rooftop ledges of a sun-drenched Miami hotel. But emerging victorious isn’t as simple as racking up kills, as winners will need to reach the score limit and survive a full round to triumph

Hyper Jam takes advantage of cross-play, allowing players on PC to be paired against players on other consoles in online free-for-all death matches. There are also a range of perks that players can select at the beginning of each round with the player in last getting the first pick. Abilities can stack as well, creating situations like Pyrogenesis and Vampirism stacking to set players ablaze and recover health from burn wounds.

Hyper Jam will be released on February 12th, 2019 for $14.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and $12.99 on PC via Steam. For more information, visit the official website.
