Humble Bundle: $5 Donation for Frozen Synapse & More

For you indie games lovers out there – and those of you who just like giving to charity – be aware that there’s just under 11 days left in the Frozenbyte Humble Bundle. The quick rundown is this: You donate an amount of money of your own choosing, and your money goes to the Electronic Freedom Foundation, Child’s Play, Frozenbyte, and the makers of Frozen Synapse. In exchange, you get the indie games Frozen Synapse and Trauma. Now, if your donation beats the average – as of this posting, hanging at around $4.65 – you’ll also get Trine, Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds: Survivor, Splot (when it is eventually released), and access to Jack Claw, a prototype and unfinished game by Frozenbyte themselves.

A pretty great deal for the games you’re getting – That’s around a fifth of the price Frozen Synapse originally launched for. And for those of you who are curious, the keycodes you get can be activated on Steam (which I admit is more and more becoming make-or-break for me with online purchases nowadays), with keys also available for Desura, OnLive, and Direct2Drive. Finally, you can choose who among the donation recipients receives what proportion of the money you’re donating – give it all to charity if you like. Or all to one of the developers if you wish. A pretty neat twist.

So, a bunch of great indie games for around 5 dollars if you choose, and you’ll be donating to charity in the process. What do you say?
