In preparation for the release of the Hitman HD: Trilogy tomorrow, IO Interactive has released a launch trailer showcasing the return of Agent 47′s infamous exploits. The Hitman HD: Trilogy contains the Hitman games Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money all remastered in glorious HD.

Gears of War: Judgement campaign preview unveiled

A new video for Gears of War: Judgement was released today, previewing the game’s campaign and some of the new features players will encounter. Narrated by the game’s protagonist and fan favorite Lieutenant Baird, “The Guts of Gears” gives us a sneak peak at in-campaign options like Declassified Missions, new weapons, and the dynamic Smart Spawn System.

Today, Focus Home Interactive takes us far away from Earth and onto the world of Mars, setting of the game Mars: War Logs, currently being developed by the Spiders game studio. Showcasing the in-game imagery of the game, the trailer (guaranteed 100% dubstep free) shows the games’ protagonist, Roy Temperance, walking the streets of Shadowlair, capital city of Aurora. All is not well in the city, and a mysterious group of people called the “Technomancers” control the planet, and all of its water, with an iron fist.

Sony Online Entertainment released a new video today highlighting the awesome scale and size of Planetside 2′s epic battles and its enormous continents. Planetside 2 has been live for a week now as a Free-to-Play FPS on Steam, and instead of the traditional style of FPS games -where gamers play matches against one another in small maps- the game is one long continuous battle set in a gigantic map. Players fight for one of three factions and contest the planet on a base-by-base system.

Cyanide announced today its first DLC for their Game of Thrones title, called Beyond The Wall. Offering an extra two hours of gameplay, Beyond The Wall takes a look at the dark past of one of the games’ main characters, Mors “The Butcher” Westford. Chronicling his early days as a Ranger on the wall, the DLC explores Westford’s origins and his scars in a quest that takes players into the frozen wasteland of the North and deep into the heart of Wildling territory.
