Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony confirmed for western launch in 2017

NIS America and Spike Chunsoft announced at PlayStation Experience that New Danganronpa V3 will come to North America in 2017 as Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.

The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita visual novel is the third of its kind, but will introduce a new story separate from the previous entries in the Danganronpa series. This time players will be put in the shoes of the Ultimate Pianist Kaede Akamatsu, who was introduced alongside the rest of the game’s cast earlier this year.

Alongside this localization announcement, NIS America unveiled Danganronpa V3’s collector’s edition, which will run you $99.99 on PlayStation 4 or $79.99 on PlayStation Vita.

Danganronpa V3 will come to Japanese audiences in January, but there’s no definitive word on when it will come to the west beyond 2017.

All the previous Danganronpa, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, are all available on PlayStation Vita. Each game will be coming to PlayStation 4 in 2017. Danganronpa V3 will be the beginning of a new story for the series, with the previous one being concluded in the anime Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy.
