Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice release date announced

The newest title in the cult-classic courtroom series, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice will be released on the Nintendo 3DS on September 8th.

In this new adventure, Phoenix and the rest of the Wright Anything Agency are faced with mysteries at home and abroad, as Phoenix must use forensics and magic to prove his client’s innocence.  The new game will also feature the return of several fan-favorite characters, including forensic investigator Emma Skye and spirit medium Maya Fey.

Fans of the series won’t have to wait that long to experience the new series, however, as a demo showcasing the new Divination Seance mechanic will be released on August 25th.  In this new feature, you’ll be able to see the murder victims final moments, and use them to find who the killer is.  But not all is exactly what it seems in the world of Ace Attorney, so you’ll have to look for contradictions even in the memories of the dead.  This, combined with the revitalized forensics system, looks set to give fans the best of both worlds, supernatural and practical, in the most complex game in the series.
