DICE has confirmed that the studio is currently developing the next game in the Battlefield series.
News of this comes from the company’s Development Director Dan Vanderlind, who tweeted out that he was moving on to a new Battlefield game after the launch of Star Wars: Battlefront.
Now that we’ve shipped Battlefront and a part of the team continues to work on it, I am moving on to another project, the next Battlefield..

The last game in the Battlefield series was this year’s Battlefield: Hardline, which was developed by Visceral Games while DICE worked on Star Wars: Battlefront and Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst.
