Sony Europe trademarks four PlayStation 2 titles

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has filed trademark requests for four PlayStation 2 games, Gematsu reports.

The games Dark Cloud, War of the Monsters, The Mark of Kri, and Rogue Galaxy can all be found with their applications “under examination” on the website of the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (link courtesy of Polygon).

Sony has not made any comment as to what these trademark requests are for, but it may be a safe bet they will be emulated to the PlayStation 4, as Sony has recently confirmed it is doing with PS2 titles.
