Rainbow Six: Siege’s open beta has been delayed due to matchmaking troubles

Less than a week before the game’s launch, Rainbow Six: Siege’s open beta has been delayed to an unknown date.

Publisher Ubisoft explained through a post on the Ubisoft forums that Siege is currently experiencing matchmaking and disconnection issues across all platforms, and while the company works on a fix it will be keeping the game in closed beta status. Despite this delay, Ubisoft states that these problems will be resolved before Siege’s launch on Tuesday, December 1st.

Rainbow Six: Siege is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Ubisoft recently announced that none of Siege’s expansions will be part of the game’s season pass, instead opting to include in-game perks in the $30 package.
