Mighty No. 9’s console versions have a new release date, no word on handhelds

After being delayed out of 2015 back in August, Mighty No. 9 is now slated for launch on consoles on February 9th in North America, and February 12th for other territories.

This date is only for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 versions of Comcept’s Mega Man successor, with the PlayStation Vita and 3DS versions of the game still in development with no updated release information.

Mighty No. 9’s delay reportedly came from issues with the game’s online functionality, but Comcept didn’t offer much in the way of specifics. Before this delay, director Keiji Inafune said that the game’s development had been mostly complete at the beginning of 2015.
