It seems that everyone’s favorite video game voice actor may have unintentionally confirmed that Naughty Dog is indeed working on a sequel to the Last of Us. During a Sunday panel at Metrocon, when asked if he’ll be working with Naughty Dog on any future projects after Uncharted 4 or if this was the last, North said the following (The Last of Us spoilers ahead):
For now, last one. I know they’re doing The Last of Us 2 but my character in the game had an untimely demise…
Did he completely let the cat out of the bag or was this a misunderstanding? We won’t know for sure but it certainly got us excited for a possible sequel. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is Nolan North and Naughty Dog’s latest collaboration on the series and it releases on March of 2016.
