Capcom’s remaster of the Resident Evil remake has broken some records for the company.

According to Capcom, the remaster has become the company’s fastest-selling digital game across North America and Europe, as well as breaking the record for PlayStation Network’s biggest selling day one digital release.

Capcom didn’t disclose specific sales numbers, or give any insight into the game’s sales on PC or Xbox platforms.

Capcom’s Yoshiaki Hirabyashi added that “It’s been great to see so many positive comments from fans that have enjoyed this new release. The team here at Capcom Japan have worked hard to bring the game to the latest generation of consoles and we are thrilled at this news on its performance.”
