Sony has announced that it will be offering PlayStation Network members a one-time 10% discount on a PlayStation Store purchase as compensation for network issues that took place around Christmas.
The discount will be available for a purchase made between 9:00 AM 1/23 PST through 9:00 AM PST 1/26. Sony will be revealing a promotion code for the deal closer to the date the discount goes into effect, but the discount will encapsulate an entire cart purchase, meaning that users can download multiple games and products with the discount.
Some restrictions were confirmed, including adding on to subscriptions to PlayStation Plus, Music Unlimted, and any PlayStation Now purchases.
Along with the discount, all PlayStation Plus subscribers are being given a five-day extension to their subscription due to their inability to access the network during the time it was down last month.
